Learning Styles and Online Flash Cards
Different people have different learning styles. While some people learn by hearing and retaining information, some others learn more effectively by seeing pictures or other items to retain the images. Still others learn by physically manipulating an object to fully understand them. Flash cards have long been used to teach many lessons. When you hold up a flash card in front of a child, and say the name of the object you are covering two learning styles. Allow the child to handle the card and you have just reached out to all three of the most popular learning styles.
Traditional flash cards became very boring after several years, and once a person is bored with the material, there effectiveness is significantly reduced. If you could just find a way to keep the students interest, flash cards are still very effective. Someone managed to break the boredom of traditional flash cards. There are now online flash cards and flash card games complete with all of the bells and whistles that keep students interested. They have made flash cards fun again by adding games to the mix. People all over the world are now using these online flash cards and flash card games and they are learning without even realizing they are actually absorbing the information they are playing with.
All living humans and animals learn by repetition, either by sight, by hearing, or by touching, which means that we can all benefit from using flash cards, but by adding the colors and sounds available on line, they are fun to use. Playing with online flash cards and using flash card games will benefit everyone who tries them. They are great for senior citizens who use the online flash card memory building games.
The same applies to preschool children; you can help them prepare for school and even get them ahead of the game by helping them work with flash card games online. Kids love to play online anyway, but providing them with the fun online flash cards and flash card games allows them to learn without even realizing that it is teaching them new skills and reinforcing skills they have already learned. You will hear your children giggle and laugh as they play the flash card games. It will warm your heart to see them having fun, but all the while you know they are actually learning.
Maybe even you would like to learn a different language or just reinforce something you learned in school that would improve your ability to do your job. There are plenty of online flash cards and flash card games that will help you learn anything you want to know. If there isn't already a set that you can use for a specific topic, you can easily build a set of your own on your computer. You can even create a blog about your learning experience or to share decks of cards you have built. You can discuss with online friends what your cards are for, and how to use them to learn a new topic.

What flash cards should I get to go with martini's fundamentals of anatomy & physiology?
I am a college student studying biology with an emphasis in pre med and will be starting my second semester of A&P in a few weeks. I was given a set of Barron's A&P flash cards for Christmas & don't want to open them until I know if they are decent or if there is a brand that is better/will go better with my book, at a decent price. The book is Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Martini 8th edition and published by Pearson
It is hard to predict whether the cards will suit the book, the professors teaching, or your learning style.
Perhaps you can best judge for yourself by looking through the various sets of cards on Amazon or someplace and reading the reviews. Or look at what is available in medical school book stores - presumably they would offer cards that are mistake free and up to date with their curricula.
You could also ask your fellow students and the professor to see if they have recommendations.
